Becoming a Volunteer
Volunteering with Lanark CAS means that you care about the well being of children. Our volunteers play an important role in the lives of our children and have a positive impact on the children and their future.
We ask volunteers to commit to a minimum of one year. This will ensure a certain degree of consistency for our children - of course we hope that you will choose to stay longer.
Applicants are required to:
- Complete an application form
- Submit a recent resume
- Provide three (3) references
- Complete appropriate forms for an OPP criminal reference check
- Sign an Agreement to Observe Confidential Information form
- Meet with our Community Outreach Coordinator
